Moral Service is just the two of them: Shaun on the plumbing, Justin on the electrical, and the pair of them together on jobs that need both trades.
Moral Service started back in 2019 as a one-man plumbing gig under the name Moral Plumbing, founded by Shaun Ridley. Fresh out of his apprenticeship and newly licensed as a contractor, Shaun took the leap as a one-man band — nothing but his ute, his tools, and a strong, honest work ethic. He began sharing the plumbing on social media, from job sites to small wins, and local support quickly followed.
As the work grew, Shaun’s brother Justin Ridley — a licensed electrician — joined him, and together they formed Moral Service: plumbing and electrical under one family name, built on trust, quality, and long-term value for Gold Coast locals. They’ve never paid for ads or chased Google rankings. Homeowners find them online and book because the work gets done right.
Every Moral plumbing job is Shaun's. He takes real pride in plumbing done properly; it's never just fixing the issue, the finished job has to look right too. He won't leave until he can stand back and say, "That's done right."
The electrical side is Justin's alone, and more than ten years in the game shows in the small things: a clean worksite, safety put first, and a finish he's proud to hand over.
